In 2013<\/strong>, I began developing a fully customized management system in FileMaker<\/strong> for my company, Rimec Srl<\/strong>, which operates in the field of precision mechanics. Today, that system manages \u2014 in an integrated and complete way \u2014 all areas of the business: administration, production, quality control, maintenance, logistics, and employee access<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before using FileMaker, I had already built earlier versions of our ERP with Lotus 1-2-3<\/strong> and later Lotus Approach<\/strong>. Those tools, although limited, taught me a key principle: no off-the-shelf software can fully understand or reflect your internal workflows<\/strong>. Only a flexible, tailored solution can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udd37 Why FileMaker?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

FileMaker<\/strong> (now Claris FileMaker) has been an essential tool<\/strong> for me. It allowed me to design and develop everything myself<\/strong>, without relying on rigid external systems or expensive ERP platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Perfect also for less glamorous tasks like document generation and structured data handling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
